Follow Jesus
Staff members should be committed followers of Jesus who are actively growing in faith.

Serve at RMHC
Camp happens because adults and young leaders give a week of their time to welcome, guide, encourage, protect, and invest in the next generation.
The purple team
Whether you serve as a counselor, team leader, activity volunteer, or behind the scenes, your presence helps campers feel known and points them toward Christ.
A week of hands-on ministry
Staff and team leaders help create the environment where campers feel known, take healthy risks, ask honest questions, and respond to God’s Word.

Staff qualifications
Staff members should be committed followers of Jesus who are actively growing in faith.
Staff members must faithfully attend a local church and live with accountability in Christian community.
Every staff member must pass the required background check and review child protection expectations.

Volunteer-led from the beginning
That shared sacrifice creates a distinctive culture. People do not come to camp because it is convenient; they come because campers are worth serving.
“Volunteering as a counselor stretched me in ways I did not expect and opened my eyes to what it really means to live for Christ every day.”
